Unlimited cycling

Most lithium-ion batteries are only guaranteed for one cycle per day. The ESS battery can be cycled continuously without limitation, as validated by extensive testing by the U.S. Department of Energy.

Zero degradation

Our batteries do not degrade with use and do not require augmentation, even when cycled continuously.

Wide range of operating temperatures

Our batteries operate without need for A/C or supplemental heating in ambient temperatures from about -0°C to 40°C.


Lowest cost of service

ESS batteries offer the lowest overall cost of service for long-duration or multi-cycling requirements, especially in heavy use applications.

Long asset life

ESS storage systems have a design life of 25 years and have been extensively tested with the U.S. Department of Energy. Advanced cycle testing simulating over 4 decades of use demonstrated no degradation in performance.

No hazardous materials

ESS batteries use no hazardous materials, facilitating permitting and simplifying requirements for containment, handling and disposal.

Made in America – ESS batteries are manufactured in Wilsonville, Oregon leveraging a largely domestic supply chain.
