Rich Hossfeld
Board of Directors
Mr. Rich Hossfeld is currently co-CEO and a member of the board of directors for SB Energy, a leading U.S. renewable independent power producer headquartered in Redwood City, California. In addition to serving on the ESS Board of Directors, Mr. Hossfeld also currently serves on the board of directors of Electric Hydrogen Co. and Breakthrough Energy Catalyst. Prior to joining SB Energy, he was a partner at True North Venture Partners and acted as vice president for several global renewable energy providers, including First Solar, where he helped launch First Solar’s North America commercial and project development business in 2007. He started his career as a corporate law associate at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP in New York.
Mr. Hossfeld has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics and Government from Claremont McKenna College and a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Duke University School of Law.
