ESS is looking for a motivated, hard-working Electrical Controls Technician to join our team. The Electrical Controls Technician job duties include:
Assembles, installs, tests and maintains electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
Diagnoses malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
Responsible for the connection of wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
When the work has been completed – must inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
