ESS Wins Frost & Sullivan 2021 North American Technology Innovation Leadership Award

Frost & Sullivan has recognized ESS with the 2021 North American Technology Innovation Leadership Award based on its recent analysis of the North American long-duration energy storage market.

ESS was selected for pioneering the design, development, and manufacturing of safe, environmentally friendly long-duration energy storage systems that offer up to 12 hours of discharge capacity and virtually no degradation over an operating life of more than 20 years.

Further, the ESS battery’s levelized cost of storage (LCOS) is in the range of 0.05 to 0.06 $/kWh, corresponding to a cost advantage of roughly 3-4 times compared to conventional battery technologies.
